John is a Certified Professional Life Coach with special emphasis on business and success.
He has been coaching and training adults for most of his life - both paid and unpaid. His
mission is to help people develop to their potential.
In support of that, he has developed training curriculum in diverse areas of human
development, from religious adult education to personal mission to career directions to ways to
make more money in your business (achieving your potential in business.) He has taught in the
corporate world, in religious institutions, and in public school districts' community
education.

John has broad experience in diverse fields (book publishing, manufacturing, defense industry, sales, banking,
oil and gas, and healthcare to mention a few). He has been described as a "jack of all trades and master of
some".
John has been on both sides of management… more than once… and has participated in hundreds of interviews… from
both sides of the desk. He is the author of Help! I'm Hiring — The Good Enough Guide™ to
Hiring (currently in pre-publication), a book for hiring managers and small business owners (soon to be
available in a Corporate edition and a Small Business edition.)
Over the past 30 years, John has worked in large corporations; in small family-owned businesses; has been a
small business owner himself; a free-lance writer; a novelist; an editor; and a software architect/ designer/
programmer. He has managed projects and software development teams (mainframe, PC, and web). He
understands career transitioning and the challenge of running a business.
He is currently working on a new book -- 57 Ways to Make More Money in Your Business.
